Pipette

Pipetting made easy. Nanolytik® pipettors are simple to use, user-friendly and precise. Precise Setting of the selected volume with click-stop mechanism ensures accurate aspiration and dispensing of the liquid.

The light weight of our micropipette makes pipetting less tiresome and improves efficiency. The ideal shaft shape helps reach contents in narrow or deep tubes. The durable tip cone offers highest resistance to shocks and chemical corrosion and the smooth plunger mechanism offers least resistance for easy operation. Smooth ejection of the tip preventing any contamination is enabled with the tip ejector.

High Comfort, Comfortable and Low Effort Pipetting

The new design with soft grip allows you to use less force while pipetting with Nanolytik® Variable Pipette and reduces the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSI). Setting the pipette volume is easy and absolute precise using the push button, even when wearing gloves. Ergonomic finger support, clear and easy–to-read display with large numbers and small increments are further features. Optimal easy tip loading and safe tip ejector allows convenient one-hand operation with minimum user effort.

Safe counter mechanism preventing accidental volume changes during pipetting. A new innovative thermal insulation of the internal components, through the innovative, ergonomic soft grip, improves accuracy. Universal Blow Out System

Two step plunger operation of Nanolytik® Variable Pipette allows the use of the “reverse pipetting technique” when pipetting from the same tip, and also when handling detergent solutions. This also facilitates last drop dispensing by soft plunger movements. High accuracy and precision are guaranteed. Easy Maintenance and Adjustment Prevention is the best cure. Nanolytik® Variable Pipettes are manufactured under strict quality control and GMP standards. Each pipette is individually tested and calibrated conforming to EN ISO 8655 and DIN 12650 standards. The conformity of the pipettes is controlled by the Thueringian State Office of Verification (Landeseichdirektion Thüringen) and documented through the official German H-sign on each pipette according to DIN 12600. The standards used for the measurements are traceable to the national standards of the Federal Republic of Germany at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB).

Are Nanolytik Variable Pipettes calibrated? 
Every Nanolytik pipette carries its individual calibration certificate as per ISO 8655 standards. Every variable volume pipette is checked at three different volumes for ten readings, fix volume pipettes are checked 10 times at one volume. All Nanolytik pipettes are calibrated in ISO 17025 accredited lab.

Why does Nanolytik calibrate pipettes by factory? 
Regular testing and calibration verification of pipetting device is required to ensure its precision and accuracy. Possible problems must be identified and corrected before they impact the integrity of the test. As a manufacturer of liquid handling products, we recognize the need to provide an easy solution for primary checking and calibrating pipettes, especially to end users without any complicated calculation.

Are Nanolytik pipettes CE Conform? 
All our manufactured Liquid Handling products are CE/IVD or CE Conform.

Metal Free Certification 
Nanolytik tips, filtertips, PCR-tubes, PCR-stripes, micro-tubes, cryo-tubes, filtration plates and filtration tubes from Nanolytik are injection moulded from autoclavable, nonwetable, premium grade, virgin polypropylene on state of the art equipment in accordance with ISO 9000 and DIN standard procedures. Only high quality, low adhesion, polypropylene are used for Nanolytik products. Our relentless pursuit to raise quality creates products that are always evolving to a higher standard.

Guaranteed absolutely Metal Free 
Only high quality, low adhesion, polypropylene is used for Nanolytik precision tips and tubes. Furthermore, all dyes used for our coloured tips and tubes are guaranteed absolutely metal free! So even our blues and yellows are metal free, eliminating the risk of sample contamination by trace elements. Our strict quality control system, according to ISO 9001-2000 and the German DIN 12650 standard for pipette tips, is certified by the official German H-sign.

DNase / RNase Certification 
Nanolytik Top-line pipette tips and filter tips, micro-tubes, spin columns, cryotubes and PCR- tubes/stripes, filter tubes and filter microplates have been tested and are certified free of DNase or RNase contamination. Also free of human DNA, pyrogene and free of PCR-inhibitors. All products are injection moulded under clean room environments according to US-Fed. Std. 209, class 1.000.000 and German DIN- VDI Standard 2083, which ensures the integrity of all Nanolytik tips and plastic products.

DNase Test Procedure 
Sample tubes/tips/plates are pipetted with 60 µl sterile water and vortexted before being briefly spun down. The water from the first tube/tip is then transferred to the second. This procedure is repeated until the water has been exposed to all tubes/tips of the sample batch except the final one. 32 µl from the penultimate tube/tip is transferred to the last tube/tip/plate where 8 µl of magnesium chloride solution and 5 µl of plasmid DNA are added. The tube/tip is left to incubate at 37°Celsius for 2 hours with a negative and three positive quantified controls. 1 µl EDTA is then added to each tube/tip/plate to stop the reaction. The plasmid DNA mixture is then analysed on a 1.5% agarose gel. The incubated controls are run in parallel. The agarose gel is then stained using ethidium bromide. DNase contamination is indicated by a brighter band corresponding to the relaxed form of the plasmid, where the plasmid DNA has been nicked by DNases present. For samples to pass the certification, the relative intensities of the supercoiled and relaxed plasmid DNA bands from solutions exposed to the batch samples must correspond to the negative control.

RNase Test Procedure 
Sample tubes/tips/plates are pipetted with 60 ?l reaction buffer and vortexted before being briefly spun down. The reaction buffer from the first tube/tip is then transferred to the second. This procedure is repeated until the reaction buffer has been exposed to all tubes/tips of the sample batch except the final one. 40 ?l from the penultimate tube/tip/plate are transferred to the last tube/tip and 5 ?l of tRNA is added. The tube is left to incubate at 37°Celsius for 2 hours with a negative and three quantified positive controls. The tRNA mixture is then analysed on a 4 % agarose gel. The incubated controls are run in parallel. The agarose gel is then stained using ethidium bromide. RNase contamination is indicated by a smear, where the tRNA has been degraded by RNases present. For samples to pass the certification, the tRNA band from solutions exposed to the batch samples must be intact with no signs of smearing.

Non-Pyrogenic Certificate
Nanolytik TOP-line pipette tips, filter tips, Micro-tubes, Cryo-tubes, PCR-tubes and stripes, qPCR-capillaries, filter tubes and filter microplates have been tested and are certified non-pyrogenic. Top-line products from Nanolytik are manufactured in highly polished innovative molds under clean room environments according to US-Fed. Std. 209, class 10000 and German DIN-VDI Standard 2083, which ensures the integrity of all Nanolytik tips. The production of all Nanolytik tips fulfills the DIN 12650 and EN ISO 8655 standard for pipette tips and is permanently controlled according to DIN 12600 by the official German gauging-office (Eichbehörde).

Autoclaving Certificate
Nanolytik tips, filter tips, racks and rackboxes, micro-tubes, cryotubes, spin columns, PCR-tubes, PCR-stripes and NanoPipette micropipettors are produced from virgin polypropylene and are autoclavable. All items should be carefully cleaned before autoclaving to prevent baking contaminants into the surface of the plastic. After cleaning, all items should be rinsed thoroughly in distilled water before autoclaving. Certain chemicals which have no appreciable effect at room temperature may cause deterioration at autoclaving temperatures and therefore must be removed.

We recommend these tips, tubes, stripes and racks be autoclaved using the following specifications:
